Supporting Activity Providers

We are pleased to have been in receipt of a grant from the Kent County Council Building Back Better Fund  to develop a capability to provide remote support for activity providers within residential care home settings.

Led by  Espression Arts,  we have worked  with a large care home, the Advisory Panel of NAPA  and a team of creative artists to establish what is needed and are in the final stage of producing 10 short videos that will not only enable activity providers to use creative kits, but show how to adapt them to meet the individual needs of residents with a range of disabilities.

We aim to test the effectiveness of the videos in August, and make them more widely available following those tests.

We are grateful to KCC for enabling this pilot project to take place and we hope to develop a suite of videos that will be useful support aids to care home staff, and through them improve the wellbeing of residents.

If interested, please contact.
